Exhaust gas release system

Description

During the operation of the tractor engine, heated highly toxic combustion products are formed, and an exhaust system will be needed to cool them and remove them from the cylinders. Also, this system is needed to reduce the noise that comes from a working engine. It provides several elements that are connected in series, and each performs its function.

Features of the exhaust system in SPK tractors

On our tractors, the exhaust gas release system is arranged as follows:
  • here there is a gas collector or a system of tubes, thanks to which combustible gases are diverted from the cylinder tubes;
  • collected together, combustible gases are concentrated, and are discharged outside in one flow through the muffler;
  • a considerable amount of heat goes along with the exhaust gases, and this allows you to maintain the thermal balance in the engine.
Also included in the delivery package is a particulate filter, thanks to which exhaust gases are cleaned of combustion products, thereby reducing their toxicity. Materials with increased heat resistance are used for all these elements. As for the exhaust manifold, it must withstand from 700 to 1000 degrees, and this is ensured by specially selected materials.
Such a device of the exhaust gas release system allows you to fully remove hot gases, as well as reduce the pressure in the engine. When fuel burns, a powerful stream of heated air is formed, and it can damage the engine. In addition, the release of hot gases is considered one of the main sources of noise. Therefore, a muffler must be installed, and it provides maximum comfort for the tractor driver when he performs his work operations. We also use several proprietary solutions developed by our engineers. They refer not only to the selection of materials, but also to the location of the exhaust system.
The design of the exhaust gas release system provides for the removal of the muffler from the engine compartment behind the cabin along its left pillar. This made it possible to improve the temperature indicators of diesel operation at high outside air temperature, reduce the noise load on the driver, and significantly improve visibility from the cabin.
